Unfortunately we have come to the end of our midweek racing for this year. With a nice number of racers and trainers on board, the birds were liberated at Navan at 12:15 with a stiff N.W. wind it made for a steady race. Winning birds were from Dromore, Crossgar, Killyleagh, Lisburn and Belfast.
The winning bird was timed by J. Middleton of the Glen Club. Many thanks to the many fanciers who supported this venture and we plan to have old bird and young bird racing again next year. Our draw for two young birds was won by Jim McAlorum and Mr & Mrs Campbell.
