After a very dull start to the day we made our way to Navan. With the weather improving on arrival at Navan conditions were perfect. The birds were liberated at 12:15 in a light west wind, they cleared in seconds and made good time.

The early birds were timed in the city with top racing loft of J & M Smyth taking the first 2 positions to collect a total of £80. Toby had a great result taking another 2 positions in the top 10. The ever consistent loft of Jim Braniff slipped into 3rd spot to lift £20 with a further 5 birds completing the top 10.

Many thanks to all those who raced with us today, also to all those who trained with us. So come along next Tuesday evening for race marking, you'll be made very welcome. If you're not in you can't win.
